Perry’s music and style has an urban feel to it which is evident through her writing style and most of her music videos. This Miami native star has been rapping since the young age of three saying in an interview that she “was basically birthed in the studio”. Perry has been doing her thing ever since. She is formally known as ‘Lil Brianna.
In the early 2000’s, Brianna Perry’s face was very well known since she made several appearances in videos for Trick Daddy, DJ Khaled and even Missy Elliot. You should have also seen her on UPN’s Road to Stardom, Rap City: Da Basement in videos with Missy Elliot, DJ Khaled, Trick Daddy, Flo Rida, Brisco and Git Fresh and 106 & Park. She has been in a couple of hip hop magazines as well, such as XXL and The Source. She has also made appearances on a plethora of projects, the most notable being Trina’s song “Kandi” from her Diamond Princess album and collaborated with Lil Steph and Jacki-O.
Ms. Perry also has released a few mixtapes like Candy Girl, Princess of Miami and The Graduation. Brianna Perry is not afraid to let her fans as well as her haters know that she is here and doesn’t plan on going anywhere. With that being said, she also was filmed in a movie with renowned actor and director Charles “Roc” Dutton. Perry is proving that she is talking the entertainment industry by storm and has a variety of talents. Her single “Marilyn Monroe” really plays on the idea of a pretty face with a fierce attitude. Perry says, “I’m holly-hood/arrogant/don’t I look good/Marilyn Monroe/Marilyn Monroe”, in the beginning of her song reminding you that although she is pretty, she also is a diva.
