Make sure you check out their websites for touring schedules to see if they’re coming to a city near you!
Fall Out Boy- US Fall Arena Tour 2013
After waiting five years for new material from Fall Out Boy, fans finally witnessed the return of FOB with loud and in-your-face Save Rock and Roll. With their charged and powerful lead single “My Sons Know What You Did in the Dark (Light ‘Em Up),” Fall Out Boy returned with their classic punk pop sound. The rest of the album features a harder edge than their past album and also some interesting collaborations such as Courtney Love, Big Sean, and Elton John. Beginning in September, Fall Out Boy return to the stage with their Save Rock and Roll Arena Tour. Accompanying Fall Out Boy is their unofficial counterpart, Panic at the Disco, as well as Ohio native band, Twenty One Pilots. The tour will begin September 5th and continue until September 29th.
Selena Gomez- Stars Dance Tour 2013
Selena Gomez has long shed her Disney Channel-star image, beginning with her role in the controversial film Spring Breakers to her debut music release. Selena seems determined to create a new, matured persona, yet manages to do so without embarrassing scandals, a feat not accomplished by many former Disney Channel stars. Her first album, entitled Stars Dance, features some catchy pop songs that are just as appropriate as Gomez is. The Stars Dance tour supporting her album will feature shows in North America (including Canada) and Europe. Supporting acts include Emblem3 and Christina Grimmie in North America, Union J in Portugal, and The Vamps in London. The tour began on August 14th and will continue until November 27th.
Krewella- Get Wet Live Tour
As the popularity of mainstream EDM grows, a group that certainly cannot be overlooked is Krewella. This trio, originally from Chicago, has taken the electronic dance scene by storm, and has already headlined some of the biggest EDM festivals such as Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, and Spring Awakening. Their 2012 EP Play Hard features the hit, “Alive,” which has topped the charts for many weeks. Their upcoming album, Get Wet will be released September 24th, and its USA leg of the accompanying tour begins August 25th and will last through November.
